sad happenings

Just when I was happy to get back on my feet here in dev, events keep happening in my life... and They are all not happy.

2 days before my birthday, June 18 I finally got myself a new scanner. I was happy, I was giddy and I was so pumped up to use it and scan my works for dev.

I got home late because I had to pick up my sister from her school. We got home and learned that my mom won't be coming home again cause she had to stay with my sick grandfather.

I postponed my scanning and submitting stuff because I wanted to go to my grandpa, but my mom told me not to anymore cause it's late so I decided not to and just slept... but wasn't able to FULLY sleep properly.

The next day, I woke up with a call from my mom saying that my grandfather has left us. It was a sad, sad day.... I didn't know if I would cry or not.. He died a day before my birthday... And I was really planning to spend it in his house cause I want him to enjoy... but since he's bed ridden, he can't get anywhere much anymore.

I wasn't around the house much these past few days, because I was mourning the loss of my grandfather... the only grandfather I had left is already gone. We were all close to him, that's why it ached so much. We just took him to his final resting place today, and I know that he's in a happy place.

So I apologize if I suddenly lost my drive to draw for awhile... Just when I thought I was back in the gig... I hope you all understand... I have been denying you of updates already, but I want you to know that I am not doing it on purpose.

I'll come back, I assure that... I just have to let this out of my system...
